Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Sports Camp Counselors.
As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories.
This is a paid position that offers valuable experience working with children in a dynamic camp setting.
Duties:
- Plan and lead engaging activities, games, and crafts for campers
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, snacks, and restroom breaks
- Foster positive relationships with campers and provide guidance and support
- Collaborate with other counselors to create a cohesive and inclusive camp experience
- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a professional or volunteer capacity
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds
