*Job Title*: Truck Driver
*Department: *Donation Center
*Reports To: *Donation Center Manager/Work Supervisor
*Employment Status*: Full Time
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Donation Center Manager, this position drives CMC’s trucks to residential and commercial donor locations-both local and out of town-and picks-up donated items.
Performs all preventive maintenance checks and informs supervisor of items needing repair and items that create safety deficiencies.
Completes all required truck driver training as needed.
Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Performs daily inspection of truck using the DOT inspection form.
* Operates truck to acquire donations for the ministry.
* Makes determinations, with assistance of Donations Center Manager, regarding if the donations are acceptable based on CMC’s quality standards.
* Loads and unloads donations in a systematic way that promotes best use of truck space and minimizes damage to the donated items.
* Must be able to communicate with donors in a professional manner.
* Fills out daily reports regarding vehicle routes and donation, as needed.
* Maintains professional appearance and hygiene.
* Maintains appearance of the truck.
* Maintains all equipment used on the truck (straps, dollies, furniture covers).
* Provides excellent customer service while assisting customers.
* Some travel may be necessary for training & temporary duty.
* Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other Mission management.
