com) Description Monitors, reviews, and assists in implementation of rehabilitation/behavioral therapy programs designed to stimulate interests/reduce behaviors of clients in an Intermediate Care Facility for Developmentally Disabled.
Instruct residents in performing a variety of activities to develop inventory preferences that will be utilized in program development.
Plan and supervise residents’ outings such as field trips and special events to promote generalization of appropriate behaviors.
Obtains and prepares data for residential meetings, special reports, and other projects.
Maintain appropriate paperwork for resident training programs and attend meetings as required.
Attend staff training and perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements High school diploma or its equivalent.
Preferred: One year of professional working experience with developmentally disabled persons.
Experience, education, and/or training used to meet the minimum qualifications and in response to the qualifying questions must be verifiable through information contained in your application.
This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.
This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.
