Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs - Organize and maintain legal files and documents - Prepare and manage case files for court hearings and trials - Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings - Schedule appointments, meetings, and depositions - Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records - Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing calendars Qualifications: - Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role preferred - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with clerical duties and office procedures - Knowledge of project management principles - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in transcribing legal documents accurately preferred but not required - Familiarity with phone etiquette in a professional setting Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38,400.
