Jones, Cobb, Wadsworth & Davis, LLC, is a small litigation firm with offices in Dothan and Montgomery, AL.
Our attorneys represent clients in all manner of litigation including, but not limited to, personal injury, wrongful death, medical, malpractice, product liability, workers compensation, social security disability, divorce and family law, and criminal defense.
As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for a variety of legal duties and tasks.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions and briefs.
- Negotiating settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Assisting with trial preparation and representing clients in court.
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Managing and organizing case files and documents.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals on cases.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Alabama.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Proficiency in legal drafting, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
- Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
- Experience with litigation and courtroom procedures.
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes.
