- Manage and supervise front end staff, including cashiers and customer service representatives
- Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed and maintain accountability for all transactions
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of front end supplies, such as bags and register tape
- Train new employees on proper use of the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure seamless operations throughout the store
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to front end staff
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to front end operations

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to accurately count money and make change
- Excellent math skills for calculating totals, discounts, and sales tax
- Proficiency in using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it may enhance communication with diverse customers
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
